Foundation anatomy

Seven stages. One structural system.

A general view of the foundation construction workflow.

  1. 01

    Site preparation & excavation

The work starts with site access, levelling and excavation to establish the foundation footprint.

  2. 02

    Prepared base

The excavated base is controlled and prepared so the structural system can be set accurately.

  3. 03

    Reinforcement cage

The reinforcement geometry is assembled and checked for the required load path and tolerances.

  4. 04

    Anchor cage positioning

The anchor cage is positioned and fixed so the foundation interface remains accurate.

  5. 05

    Concrete placement

Concrete is placed with disciplined sequencing to protect the geometry and structural continuity.

  6. 06

    Finishing & curing

Surface finishing and curing protect the foundation quality during the early stages of maturity.

  7. 07

    Grout & final interface

The final interface is completed with grout and finishing works that support the turbine connection.
